Aunt Carol died from her cancer on Sunday. We attended her funeral yesterday. At first everything was normal. We talked to Uncle George he said he was there in the living room when Aunt Carol died. He said Uncle John stayed by her side! Aunt Stacie Uncle George's wife took it hard. Aunt Stacie is our family friend, Aunt Carold was her mother. Aunt Carol became a family friend too! Uncle George said we should go get some food in the kitchen. My mother left me there for a while. A German woman took my hand. She asked me if I was here for the Linebeckers. I said no, I was going to tell her that I was there for Aunt Carol. Another lady said she saw me in the other room near Aunt Carol's body! When my Mom returned I told her what the German lady said. Come to find out Linebecker is Uncle John and Aunt Carol's last name! I wanted to find the German lady and explain my mistake, but she was gone. We went into the other room with Aunt Carol. Granma Frieda and Granpa Louis were there. Granma Frieda acted as if nothing was wrong, she laughed and joked. Mom said Granma Frieda was really upset. Aunt Carol was her sister! We were going to the church, after the funeral home. But Mom and I broke down. After we saw Uncle John and Aunt Stacie crying. I just wanted out of there! Uncle John thanked us for coming. I was glad to return home.
